The planning is in full swing for our Annual Milwood & Walnut Crossing NA’s 4th of July Parade & Picnic! Our Neighborhood’s BIGGEST Event with over 550 attendees last year!

Join us for the next planning meeting THIS Monday, June 19 at 7:30pm at Silver Grill Cafe!

All are welcome to join! We are looking for volunteers, donations, sponsors and great ideas! If you think you might attend respond or email mnaboard@milwoodna.com so we can save you a seat (and make sure the meeting table is large enough.)

Please try to avoid Amherst on Saturday if possible. So we can give the seal coat time to set. Thanks!

It is with very heavy hearts that we share some extremely sad news. MNA’s very own, Tim McMullen – our photographer and consistent volunteer – passed away this weekend. We will miss his smile, sense of humor, and willingness to always lend a hand. The MNA board meetings won’t be the same without his wit and jokes. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones.

A Memorial Mass is scheduled for 11 am CST next Thursday, June 15 at Emmaus Catholic Parish in Lakeway, TX. Reception details will be posted as soon as possible. There will be a carpool set up if anyone would like to join please pm or email mnaboard@milwoodna.com

Pool Party at Balcones’ Pool this Saturday, June 3rd to celebrate the new shade and 6 picnic tables! Thanks i Fratelli Pizza for graciously providing the delicious pizza at this event! Thanks Austin Parks Foundation and Austin’s Parks and Rec Dept for these improvements!!
