Face painting, origami, button making and much more!!
Celebrate Día this Memorial Day weekend with Elizabeth Kahura’s African Safari, and an international storytime featuring stories in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish with a guest performance by staff from the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center. We will have face painting and snacks.

We had a great turnout for Saturday’s Battery, Oil, Paint and Antifreeze Collection Event and raised some needed funds for both Balcones Park and MNA! And we couldn’t have done it without our tireless volunteers, St. Stephens Baptist Church and H&H Build and Design!

Summitt Elementary’s PTA will hold its annual Spring Fling fundraiser to raise the salary for our wonderful technology instructor, Mrs. Barbara Neill. Catch up with your friends and neighbors in the Red Oak Ballroom at Norris Conference Center on Saturday, May 5 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. There will be delicious food, amazing silent and live auction items, and other surprises throughout the night.

Purchase tickets online now through May 1 for $30 each. Your ticket covers your entrance to the event, unlimited heavy hors d’oeuvres and one drink. You may purchase additional drinks at a cash bar.

Make sure you sign-up to be listed on the website which received more than 760+ views last garage sale. MNA will take care of purchasing an ad in the Statesman, posting general garage sale signs, marketing, craigslist postings, website and facebook listings. You just gather your stuff and get ready to make some extra cash. Though we have heard your traffic grows if you do an individual Craigslist post and Signs for your own sale.
