This is a group for neighbors in the Duval/Amherst/Parmer area.
If you own a business, feel free to post your contact info. Milwood is all about supporting our neighbors! But please be respectful and don’t clog the group with multiple posts or solicitations.
We received a letter from the City of Austin letting us know that they will soon be trimming and pruning tress away from high-voltage electric transmission lines. The letter states that they will make every effort to contact affected property owners to discuss the proposed work, and each property owner will receive a written Vegetation Work Plan to document the work. Work will be performed by the COA contractor Asplundh Tree.

Our children need a hand! If you can serve as Crossing Guard mornings and afternoons for about 1 hour each, pay is $10/hr. Location at Mosely/Amherst crosswalk. Contact Susan Craven at 512/695-8486. A criminal background check will be conducted. Thanks for helping keep our school kids safe!
