A Thanks to Milwood Baptist Church who has generously offered their hall for our meeting.

We will also be accepting MNA Member Dues, which are $15 per year, but it is not a requirement to join the meeting. It just helps MNA continue its work for the neighborhood. Renters & Owners alike are welcome.

A great family friendly Turkish Food & Craft Festival in Milwood at Amherst & Adelphi – THIS Saturday, April 16th from 11am to 7pm!!

Join Four Seasons Community School for a day of Clean-up in our beloved Balcones Park – THIS Saturday, April 9th from 9am-11am!

There will be tasks for all ages. So feel free to stop by and help make the park beautiful!

It is a Keep Austin Beautiful Project and every volunteer hour will count towards our grants for Balcones Park and Pool – so Don’t Forget to Sign-In and Out!! Thank you!!

A BIG Thanks to Four Seasons Community School for putting this on!

Swim Lesson Registration begins at 8AM on April 1st, 2016 with Austin’s Aquatic Division. We’re extremely excited to get the adults and children of Austin and the surrounding areas swimming again this summer. You can register one of the following four ways:

1. You can register in person at our office located at 2818 San Gabriel St. Austin, TX 78705. You will need a registration form and payment to register for a class. You can find registration forms at our office or on page 37 of the 2016 Swim Brochure located here.

2. You send your registration by mail to 2818 San Gabriel St. Austin, TX 78705. You will need to enclose a check payable to the City of Austin along with a registration form.

3. You can fax your registration to 512-974-9344. You will need to provide credit card information in the appropriate place on the registration form.

4. You can also register online at Austintexas.gov/parksonline. You will need to create an account. You can search for your class using the course number found in the 2016 course brochure on the bottom right menu of the search page.

We are in the process of hiring our summer lifeguards.
The youngest lifeguards we hire are 15 years of age so if you know of any interested people please share the attached flyer with them. We are offering a $100 bonus to the first 400 lifeguard that are on payroll by May 23rd so time is running out to qualify for that incentive. In order to apply just follow the instructions below:

1. Fill out the online application here: https://www.austincityjobs.org/postings/52369

2. Bring a Picture ID and Social Security Card to 2818 San Gabriel St. Austin, Texas 78705 Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. (A school transcript may use for minors in lieu of a picture ID)

3. Once In the office we will interview the applicant and set them up with a training class.

RAMP CLOSURES:
· Northbound entrance-ramp from Braker Lane – Closed from Friday evening at 7 PM until Monday morning at 5 AM
· Northbound exit-ramp to Duval Road – Closed from Friday night at 10 PM until Monday morning at 5 AM
· Northbound entrance-ramp from the Domain, in between Braker Lane and Duval Road – Closed from Friday night at 7 PM until Monday morning at 5 AM
· Northbound entrance-ramp from Duval/Burnet Road – Closed from Friday evening at 7 PM until Monday morning at 5 AM
· Northbound exit-ramp to Parmer Lane – Closed from Friday night at 10 PM until Monday morning at 5 AM

MAIN LANE CLOSURES:
· Two left lanes will be closed along the northbound main lanes stretching from Braker Lane to Parmer Lane – Closed on Friday at 10 PM – Saturday at 4 AM, And again on Sunday at 10 PM – Monday at 5 AM
· A single right lane will be closed along the northbound main lanes stretching from Braker Lane to Parmer Lane – Closed on Saturday 4 AM –Sunday at 10 PM

FRONTAGE ROAD CLOSURES:
· The single left lane on the frontage road leading onto the:
o Northbound entrance ramp from Braker Lane
o Northbound entrance ramp from the Domain, in between Braker Lane and Duval Road
