TODAY is the Last day to submit feedback
about Parmer Lane Changes (some happening quickly) that will affect YOU!
Click HERE to FILL OUT THE PARMER LANE SURVEY.
If you weren’t able to attend the Parmer Lane Open House, you can view the proposed changes here.
Short-Term Projects: There are a number of smaller changes being planned and some are already funded. This includes some dedicated turn lanes into neighborhoods, new dividers at intersections and some signage/light improvements.
Here is a map of the planned short-term projects. Ones that say “improvement funded” are slated to be done in the next 1-2 years.
Long-Term Projects: During the Open House, there was a new slide with the “Long-Term Improvement Recommendation” that highlighted having a one-lane highway in each direction in our area (two lanes north of 45 Toll) that “would bypass signals… by using overpasses or underpasses.” (See the image above for a schematic.)
There is no concrete timeline (we were told 10+ years), and there is no idea of what it would actually look like, where exits/entrances would be, or how putting all the through-traffic into one lane each way would be an improvement.
IMPORTANT: PROVIDE FEEDBACK
