III – Presentation from Recycled Reads – used bookstore that directly supports the library, 5335 Burnet Rd
Has volunteer opportunities for ages 17 and up
IV – Trail Update from Richard Duane – Public Works and Robert Brennes – Austin Parks and Recreation
Past contract and design issues halted project and are now in legal review
New project being designed now, ADA compliant
Erosion control fences coming down except for those absolutely necessary
Bridge to be re-structured and trees protected according to the Tree Ordinance (for Heritage trees)
Project will be bid out in August, voted on in Nov, awarded in Dec
Construction to begin in Jan 2013 to be completed Fall 2013!
