Project Connect: Central Corridor Study – Phase 2 Workshop
Location: Austin Community College at Highland Mall, 6001 Airport Boulevard, Austin, TX 78752
The public is invited to ACC Highland for the first public workshop of Phase 2 of the Project Connect: Central Corridor study. The workshop will take place Saturday, February 8, from 9:30 AM to Noon.
Participants will have a chance to review information and offer input on potential transit service, transit types and routes within our study area. This event will allow the public to come and go throughout the morning and participate when it is most convenient. The Central Corridor team will be on hand to provide an overview of the issues under study, gather input on maps and preliminary alternatives and answer questions.
Light refreshments will be provided as well as music and activities for kids.
The Central Corridor team will use the input gathered from this event to help develop potential transit projects for further study.
In Phase 2 of the Project Connect: Central Corridor study, the team will work with the advisory group and the community to define a project (Locally Preferred Alternative). This project will include identification of service characteristics, alignments (routes), and mode of transit (bus, train, etc).
