Impact News had an enlightening article on park funding in NW Austin. I noted with interest the 165,000 dollars apparently set aside for playground renovation and extension in Balcones District park. Our park rep told me in a conversation that he was having a meeting on that very topic on Thursday, so more information to come. The graphic below is from that article.
