The city of Austin has 2 openings for Program Event Leaders (helping out with the city’s compost classes). It’s very part-time (maybe 20 hours per month), and it only pays about $12 – 15 per hour. Still, it can be fun and it’s a great way to meet folks interested in zero waste.

and then go to “Search Jobs” and then where it says department, type in Austin Resource Recovery. The job just got posted today and it’s open til April 10th.
