Milwood Neighborhood Association is looking for volunteers to help us with our 9th annual 4th of July Parade and Picnic. It’s a big event and we need all the able bodies we can get.
We’re having a volunteer meeting on June 18th at 7 pm at the Silver Grill, 4005 Parmer Lane, to start coordinating the big day.
There are a lot of helpful items that we will need to borrow as well. They include:
- Tables
- Large ice chests/coolers
- Canopies/shade pop-ups
- Large pickup trucks for pickup and delivery of about 40 folding chairs and other items
- Local business sponsorship donations of gift certificates for our raffle (minimum $25, please)
If you have items you can let us borrow, please make sure they are clearly marked with your name and contact number or address so that we can ensure they are returned to you after the event!
