Just a quick reminder that under the Stage 2 water restrictions that the City of Austin recently imposed, no outdoor fountains are allowed to run at any time unless they are supporting live fish. I’ve seen several fountains in the neighborhood that are still in operation and not supporting fish.
Don’t forget that the City has instituted a Zero Tolerance policy with a $475 fine if you are caught or reported. If you see a neighbor with a fountain running, please give them a gentle reminder about the City’s policy or direct them to this post.
