Be on the lookout for these vehicles (call 911 if you see them)

Here’s some info from Northwest Hills and surrounding areas:

In two recent burglaries on the same street (Chimney Corners off of Far West in NW Hills), we have the following descriptions of vehicles believed to be involved:

May 7: A grey/navy Dodge Charger sped from the scene when a neighbor across the street turned on her lights. It was a burglary and they went in through a back door. It’s believed that a white lookout vehicle was also involved.

April 6: A red pickup truck was seen dropping off three guys with backpacks and picking them up an hour later around the time of the burglary. They went around back to enter the house through a window.

Early this morning a resident nearby saw a grey Dodger driving slowly down her street and she believes they were casing houses. She called it into APD.

AISD re-opens Facility Master Plan survey

In response to requests from the community, the Austin Independent School District has re-opened a survey that will help guide the completion of the Facility Master Plan (FMP). The District is asking AISD parents/guardians, staff and community stakeholders to take a few minutes to help us identify FMP alternatives on issues such as overcrowding and under-enrollment, as well as to identify the needs at campuses and other AISD facilities. Your input is vital to this process. Please take the time to complete the anonymous survey below by going to the links below. The survey can be taken on computer, tablet, or smart phone.
If you do not have access to the internet, paper copies of the survey are available at your student’s school administrative office. The deadline to complete and return paper copies to your school administrative office is no later than Tuesday, May 27, 2014. The online survey is now open and will close on Tuesday, May 27 at 5:00 p.m.
