Busy April for Milwood!

We have lots of events planned for the month of April. Please contact us using the button at the top of this page if you have any questions.

Neighborhood Garage Sale, April 5th – You send us your address, get your stuff ready and out on the driveway the morning of April 5th, and we’ll do the rest.  We place signs around the entrances to Milwood and place an ad in both the Statesman and Craig’s List.  We will also provide a map of all Garage Sale addresses to interested shoppers.  Don’t forget that Summitt Elementary is also having their garage sale that day, so if you don’t want to have your own, you can donate your items to them.  Lots of shopping opportunities that day! Send us your address via the Contact Us form and we’ll include you on our map.

It’s My Park Clean Up Day, April 12 – Help us continue this great tradition of taking care of our Balcones Park with the Austin Park Foundation.  Many volunteer opportunities are available to trim branches, collect trash, fill the large hole on the path by the waterfall, and work on general trail and park maintenance.  Sign up information can be found here

General Neighborhood Meeting and Candidate Forum April 22 – at the Milwood Library, 7pm.  Join your neighbors to discuss current events as well as meet some of the candidates running for Austin City Council in May.
