As you may be aware, Union Pacific is in the process of clearing the right-of-way along the exisitn railway on the west side of the neighborhood. They are currently clearing trees & debris, cutting and filling the embankment, and constructing a temporary crossing at Parmer Road overpass. Be aware that as the work gets underway, there will be times when the train whistles will blow more than normal to warn the workers in the area.
