Orange Male Cat Found

An orange, male stray cat has been found near Balboa. The cat is described as very friendly and probably being missed by his family. He looks like he’s been in a fight in the past and possibly lost his collar. If you know who this cat belongs to, please contact us ASAP. The people who found the cat will be taking him to a shelter in a few days if no one comes forward.

Chihuahua/Owner Reunited!

A whopping good week for lost and found dogs being reunited with their owners. The total is four since last Friday. Two happened so fast they didn’t even get posted here!

REMINDERS:

  1. Microchipping your dog is the best way to ensure they are identified if lost. All Veterinary offices can scan dogs to check this. (One dog reunited this way.)
  2. Collars with tags containing current phone number is vital. (Another dog reunited this way.)
  3. Check fences and gate latches to make sure Houdini doesn’t get out of his yard.

Update to Found Dogs

After getting some information from a couple of our neighbors, we have determined that a pair of dogs, probably brothers, were dumped in the neighborhood. One is named Leroy and the other is Lester. We think they are border collies. The phone number listed on their tags is from a disconnected Decatur, Texas line.

If you know anything about these dogs or their owners, please send us a note so we can put you in contact with the neighbors who found the dogs.
